AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

Hi,

In one of our AC 7 shopping carts, the admin frequently adjusts the customer's order -adding items, for example. However, we notice that AbleCommerce doesn't automatically calculate, and apply, taxes to the order.

We have configured tax codes and tax rules in the cart, which works fine for regular customer checkouts. But when we add items to orders in the admin screen, the taxes are not automatically added.

Is this not a feature of AC 7? Will it be coming soon?

When the order is placed on the site the information in the cart items (Products, Shipping, and Taxes) are denormalized and stored in the database as Order Items.

Adjusting the cost of any of those items overrides the cost of only that item.

Recalulating costs of Shipping or Taxes is not available after the order has been placed. Your customer will need to adjust the taxes and shipping himself after adjusting the order items.

This is a big feature request. This would make Able near flawless for me.
