Hi,

I am going through options/variants section in product setup details.
I had options/variants "delivery type" with choices as
option1 20$ available checked
option2 30$ available checked
option3 40$ available Unchecked.

When I preview the product even option3 is showing up in the user side of the store. I thought unchecking available check box will not show option3 in deliver type drop down on the user interface.

What is the functionality of Available Checkbox in options/variants.
Any help please.

I don't want to track inventory on the product.
Still the available box functionality doesn't work. Even the post mentions that and there is no work around information in the post .

Any more help please?????

The available checkbox does work, but not in the way we would all like for it to work. If you have it unchecked but still don't have inventory enabled, the customer gets a message after the put the product into the basket that it is not available. For most of us, that is too late and not a good way to handle it. I think they did it that way for some performance enhancement.
