Email List User Export Problem

When trying to export my email list, using the export list button, when managing my email list, I keep getting 0 byte files. When trying to open email_list.csv it is just a blank file. Is there something I need to click on or do to actually get it to export the email addresses?

I had the same problem in this thread:

Received no answer so I just use Able and another mailing software at the same time.

Thanks for the follow up. I already use a third party program that shows me who reads what and what links they click, which is why I wanted to import the names Able collects into the program. I am glad it is not just me

Is this issue slated to be addressed? I would really like to be able to export the names into our email marketing program.

What is your AbleCommerce version information, you can found it under Help -> AbleCommerce Information . I have tried to reproduce it on 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 and both worked fine. So could you explain your Email list configurations and something that could help reproduce the case. Also what are the number of customers in Email list this is the number showing against Members: heading just above Export option.

I am set up for Opt-In with verification and default sign-up. This list only has 48 members. I also shows that no emails have been sent, but I have sent emails. When I click on the export list button I get the option to open the file or save it. Either selection creates a 0 byte file named email_list.csv.

Still unable to reproduce it on 7.0.3. What is your browser information?

I get the same result on IE8, Firefox and Chrome. It is not creating the file.

We are also having this problem. I've tested in Firefox 3.5 (see error graphic) and IE8 (in normal and compatibility mode - just says page can't load).

This is still and issue for me. I like that a customer can subscribe to our email list upon checkout, but it I cannot ever send them an email it is useless.

I am having problems exporting addresses from the Adminstration. It hangs forever while trying to download the data. What is going on here? Has there been a solution for this? Thanks.

Hi,
I have the same issue. I found that if I use IE6 it works correctly! Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE8 don't work. I get a file with 0 bytes and nothing in it.

This is working fine for us in newer versions of AC. It's definitely working for us in 7.0.4.
