Product Template text box option value

Hello

I have some operational questions on using product templates. I am haviong trouble locating any user documentation. Can you point me to the a help topic on this?

In the meantime I am in the process of adding product to our new site and need to create a product template with a textbox drop down and charge the customer for the the option chosen. There is a value field for each choice whre I have entered amounts to charge but this does not seem to affect the selling price when chosen from the product page.

You can't modify the price with a template field without custom coding. You would need to use an option or a kit.
