Changing the Status of Orders and Status of Shipping

My AC7 is integrated with Stone Edge, and Stone Edge works great with AC7 for importing orders from AC7.
My questions is, we have got a lot of complaints about customers checking their status of their order and it saying "Shipment Pending" although the shipment has been shipped out and almost delivered. I know we can go through and select each order, then change those selected orders to what we want (e.g.: Shipped, Paid) But with the volume we have we truly don't have time to go through each order, and their are orders that are declined or have problem, so I don't want to select all and put as Shipped because many customers will get the wrong impression.
Is there a way to communicate with Stone Edge back to AC7 to let Able know that certain orders have been shipped and to change their status to Shipped? Instead of keeping it at "shipment pending"? With out doing it one by one, or by a group? That way when customers log they get the correct status of their order?
