Moving to Ablecommerce

Post by toolsup » Thu Apr 23, 2009 1:38 pm

We are currently with another ecommerce software co. (BV) and are considering moving to Able.
One of my concerns is moving our products and categories.
We currently have about 9500 product in 2500 categories.
Is there a easy way to make the change?
Matt

I'm not familiar with BV, but you could definitely write custom scripts to bring your data in to Ablecommerce. I did this for many Ablecommerce 5.5 websites and it wasn't very complicated, but it will entirely depend on how well you know the data structure and .NET.

You can export out of BV and import directly into Able. I was able to move from BV5 to Able without any huge issues.

Never looked back. We love Able!
