I noticed within the last 30 days that an error is now logging regarding the exchange rates update...request failed with an empty response.

Thoughts?

Important note to all customers using multiple currencies with automatic updates... please go to Configure -> Currencies. Set the automatic provider to European Central Bank.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York decided to cease publication of foreign exchange rates. The provider must be removed from our list. This will be corrected in our 7.0.3 release, and it is probable that we will add one more alternate provider for the Bank of Canada.

The Fed decided the data was already being published by other sources and their services were no longer needed. There are commercial sites that can provide this data (such as xe dot com and oanda dot com) but they charge a pretty hefty price starting at $200 USD a month. It probably doesn't make sense for our purposes to support these feeds.
