In our store setup we are using the PayPal Gateway in sale mode. Where are the PayPal order ID and transaction ID stored in the database?
Is this information being returned from PayPal?

We need this information to make a custom report.

Yes PayPal returns order information and application updates related order in database. Have a look at the ac_Order, ac_Payments and ac_Transactions tables in database.
