I have a item that will not display the selected option..

select a style and then add to the mini cart - it shows the selection correctly
go to the actual cart or try and checkout and it drops the selection

I have other similar items that work correctly like this one.

I thought at first the name was too long but that wasnt it....

Any ideas??

The product drop down was working when I viewed the site and it let me add to my cart. Might have just been a temporary cache issue. There appeared to be a page reload after the selection was made that might not have been working.

I dont think you understood my issue as I know the dropdown is working fine. The issue is that it does not show which option was selected during checkout or in the main shopping cart.

It dropped it for me as well, but only the basket page. The minibasket shows it correctly.

You might want to change the product name - that confused me at first. I chose Box4 and then saw that in the basket page and thought it selected it. Maybe something like "adapter bolts for the Box4/Tofo thingy".

Is that a product template feeding the large text box?

The problem is it drops it on the invoice..so I have no idea which was selected.

Yes that box is a product template.

Try removing the template field from the product and see if it works properly.

Ok..I figured it out. Since the option name was also in the description name it would not list it. Once I changed the option names by making them non capatilized..it works fine. Not sure why it was setup this way.
