AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

Ever since I added an option/variant to all of my products, they can no longer be added to the shopping cart from the Category summary/listing screen. You have to click on the detail link, select the option and add to cart. My client will kill me if I cannot fix this one. I would like to be able to set a default value for the option or make it not required. It is forcing a selection no matter what. I was looking for a required flag, but it looks like all option/variant values are just required.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You would need some customization work. For example you can edit your category display page so that it would allow you to add products with variants and options on some default values. Also have a look at following thread it may be helpful
