Hi -
I'm wanting to setup my store in the root of my IIS web site, for example www.mystore.com instead of in a virtual directory like www.mystore.com/store/. If I give the site read/write permissions and have it use an application pool used by the Network Service, can I effectively skip the virtual directory installation step? I've done some searching but have only found examples of this in version 5.5.
Thanks!

Re: Installing AC 7.0.3 in Root IIS Website
Update: I've configured an App Pool to run as Network Service identity, and removed the virtual directory out of the site so that http://mystore works locally. Everything seems to be working fine at this point, but I'd still be curious to know if I'm going to break anything by using this method...
Thanks,
