AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

We have an anonymous checkout set up. If I want to create a coupon and restrict it to one use per customer, will it restrict anonymous users to one use after their purchase? Or does Able only restrict it to registered customers/members? Does anyone know how Able actually determines the one use per customer stipulation? Thanks!!

For anonymous user it will restrict user to one use for same session with different sessions he/she will be able to apply coupon again.
