Google Base Feed Error

Hello,

I recently upgraded to the 7.0.3 and I still have an issue with the GoogleBase Feed. I'm not sure if it's related to customizations done on my website. Before the upgrade I was able to create the feed and then I manually uploaded it to Google. I do not use Yahoo or Shopping.com but the feeds are created for these items.

Now I can not create the feed at all (.txt file) and all the user details are entered corrected. When I select to Create Feed, I get the following error:

FAILED
•An unexpected error occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Thanks.

This could be a wrong setting in the database that defines where the feed is stored. Did you move to a different folder on the server? Yahoo and Shopping feeds don't store that info in the database, so they will work even after a move.

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your response. There was a problem with the database and it was corrected.

I recently responded to another post that you offered assistance, but I wasn't sure what the poster was able to do to get it to work properly.

viewtopic.php?f=42&t=12029&p=52624#p52624

My issue is:
I'm getting the following errors, but the file seems to be correct. I've even tried to manually uploaded the .txt file and I still am not able to upload.

Feed status summary

0 of 582 items inserted - Processed on Sep 3, 2009 10:21 am EDT

Detected encoding: UTF-8
Detected delimiter: Tab (\t)
Detected file format: Text

Warning: Missing recommended attribute: weight
While items missing recommended attributes will process successfully, we recommend including relevant attributes if they are available.
Item Errors - 582 items with errors
582 Missing title
You must enter an item title. "Title" is a required attribute.

Examples:
Item Nr. Line Nr.
1 2
6 7
7 8
8 9
9 10
582 Missing required attribute: id
Please make sure you include all required attributes in your data feed.

Examples:
Item Nr. Line Nr.
1 2
6 7
7 8
8 9
9 10
582 Missing required attribute: description

Here is a link to the feed and it looks fine, but it still say the labels are missing:
http://senselingerie.com/Admin/Marketin ... enseli.txt

Also in the error log on ablecommerce, I got the following error:
The remote server returned an error: (553) File name not allowed.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance...

The only problem that you should have with Able generated file is that they put the product summary content into GB's description field and if you don't have any content there, the field will be rejected.
I don't know why you would be missing and id or title, though.
Your link to the file was truncated by the forum, so I can't get to it.

I've added some spaces to the file to see if it would load.

Please let me know if this helps.

/Marketing
/Feeds/Data
/senseli.txt

I've added the description field through the batch upload, so it should be fine. Right not it's short until I have a chance to make it more detailed.

It looks OK to me now. There is an id and title and description. Try uploading it manually again.
