I have received a letter from FedEx

On Mat 31 2012 FedEx Will Discontinue support of our FedEx API Solutions.... We strongly encourage API users to migrate to FedEx Web Services to enjoy new features and services...

I know its some time away but it might be a big change for some users.

We have web services integration already complete. We debated including the new integration in 7.0.3, but it requires a different userid/login than the existing API. We decided it would cause too much confusion because for a while we'll require two versions of FedEx gateway; one for the existing users and one for new users who sign up to use the FedEx webservice.

I am sure as 2012 approaches this will become more familiar to merchants using FedEx.
