Username Bug?

We want to use our customer's existing customer number as the "username". AbleCommerce accepted these values at setup (all 200 customers are uploaded); however, the login doesn't work. No error message is returned. The default.aspx screen is returned, but they are not logged in. If I add a letter at any place in the username, it works fine. I don't want to confuse the customers with "Add an A to your customer number" nonsense. Advice?

I really need an answer on the user name as numeric only. I have several hundred users all ready to go -- if they could only log in.

According to the tracking, this bug is considered fixed -- however, I do not have a way to get the fix. It is not listed in the 10-17 Patch.

We cannot do anything without this login fixed.
