Does the referral id code "?afid=1" work on all URLs of the website or is it reserved to the Default.aspx page? I'd like to utilize this feature for tracking all of our referrals (i.e. Google AdWords, Yahho Search Marketing, MSN AdCenter, etc.). However, I would want to send the keyword links directly to product or category pages and not to the home page. Just wanted to see if that is possible with the coding as is or if it would require modifications.
I tested it but it didn't seem to work, but I may have done something wrong...not sure. Also, how does it handle multiple IDs? For example, user John Doe goes via a link from Affiliate A. That gets logged into their cookies I would assume. The user then comes back a day later from a link on Affiliate B's website. Which cookie gets the sale if he converts on day two? Do both get logged or only one? If only one, which gets the sale? Just curious.

Scratch my first question. I just realized that I looked at the wrong field in the order. I was looking at Referrer on the order instead of Affiliate. Affiliate did log the proper affiliate when I put "?afid=1" in the URL of a product page. I am still curious about the multiple affiliate referral question though.
