Shipping From Multiple Warehouses - One Shipping Price

I am trying to market our ecommerce page internationally - some of our products cannot be shipped overseas because of legal export reasons - in order to differentiate which products cannot be shipped overseas, I placed them in a logically warehouse – so I have 2 warehouses, one for USA products only and the other for USA and international purchases – the problem is that orders are now getting 2 separate shipping/handling charges – does any one know a better way to handle this?

You could keep them in one warehouse, but tag them in some way. Then when you get to the checkout page, hide international shipping methods for baskets with those products.

Hi Judy, I guess I misunderstood jacey's original question. What I am looking for would be one shipping option and charge even though the items ship from multiple warehouses in drop ship scenarios. Apparently this would be a difficult customization according tho this thread: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=10275

It would be nice if this was an option though as I feel like multiple shipments could potentially scare customers away. It just seems instinctual that 3 separate charges at ten dollars each feels worse than one charge at 30 dollars. On the back end, you could still show separate shipments, but only one charge.
