Address format

Post by igavemybest » Wed Oct 21, 2009 4:52 pm

Does anyone know the specific file that handles the breaks between address lines? I am not seeing any breaks between my lines on any addresses..email, any web page (checkout or admin). My country is set up correctly.

Actually, if anyone else ever has this problem, I just found the solution after 3 weeks of headache.

In the store under Configure --> Regions --> Countries

Edit a country and you should see something like this in the address format box:

[Company]
[Name]
[Address1]
[Address2]
[City_U], [Province_U] [PostalCode]
[Country_U]

It was showing up like that but not working as displayed. I manually deleted the line breaks, and then pressed enter to ensure each line break was there. That fixed the issue.

Wow, I just ran into this same issue with a client. I would have NEVER figured this out if you hadn't posted the answer - thanks a bunch !

I never even knew that menu option was there :(
