AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

I'm brand new to ablecommerce and I tried to find this in the forum. I have a product with many options. Sometimes choosing one option will negate or create another option. For example, if a chair has the option of arms then it is eligible to have leather arms. If the option of arms is not chosen on the chair it would be awfully difficult for it to have leather arms. However, the front end will allow you to choose that option. I would have thought that going into manage variants and un-checking the availability of those combinations that cannot occur would have prevented their presentation on the front-end, but this did not happen. I did notice that when i try to add the non-existent item to the shopping cart it told me that the product was no longer available and had been removed from my basket.

In 7.0.4, the code was changed so that if you check it unavailable, it doesn't show up in the product option dropdowns. It's a great enhancement.
