Error creating order on admin side

Post by kastnerd » Tue May 18, 2010 7:15 am

I am trying to get everything working so my site can go live. If I use the admin side to create an order. on /Admin/Orders/Create/CreateOrder2.aspx If I add a product that is a kit, When I click Add To Order I get this error, If I click cancel I get this error. I cant close the kit pop up window, Iv tested it in IE8 and Chrome

If I refresh the page I can see the cart and the product was added to the order correctly. Items that are not kits just add no problem.

I found it adds the product to the cart with the error, but does not take into effect the price modifications of the kit items. only the parent items price.

What build are you using? We have a client who has been having trouble with a combination of a kit and a group discount. We've never been able to get an error message- the site just churns, no one can use it, and we have to restart the app pool. I just haven't had time to do any independent testing, though.

AbleCommerce 7.0.3 build 12458 I made sure my admin pages are stock. If i refresh the page I can get the error to clear off the screen.

I tested with a 2 new items with only a name and price. Using Kit and Check box. testing placing the order for a new customer, and it still gives me the same error.

Is there another spot in the admin that uses the pop up?
ajax:ModalPopupExtender ID="AddPopup" runat="server"
I have tried to make sure all files are correct. But has not helped.

I have found a separate but frustrating thing during admin check out.
Adding items to a customers basket threw the admin side, you can add out of stock items, there is no prompt or mark of any kind to make you aware of the out of stock status. At the payment page when you enter in all the payment info and click submit,
It starts to load, and then all out of stock items magically disappear from the cart. And the payment has not gone threw yet. So then you could click submit again to process the order, but who would want to some or all of your items have just magically disappeared.
