I have a product that requires an additional fee whether the order quantity is 1 or 100. If I bundle it as a product and a service fee then the fee will be added for each additional quantity. Is there a way to do this without modifying the code-behind? Pricing rule perhaps?

You could try doing this with a kit. Create a product and hide it. It would only be available as part of this kit. You could also create a warehouse and put just this product in it with a shipping method that has a handling fee.

A kit was my first thought however within a kit the quantity of the two products is always 1-1. The product is a didigtal good so there is no shipping involved.

Here is the scenerio: Software product for stand-alone licesence model is say $99 a seat. The same software is available in a network license model but costs $99 a seat + $250 network license charge. So I can purchase 1 seat at $99+250 or 20 seats at $99 for $1980 + $250. Within a kit I don't see where you can set one of the products to maintain a quantity of 1 while the other option changes.

You're right. I don't see a way to have a variable quantity for a kitted product. This is something that would need to be customized unfortunately.

I'm looking for the same thing. Was a feature like this ever added? I'm looking for a single, one-time fee at a single quantity attached to a product a variable quantity.
