AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

In the last day, the Captcha image on both the store and admin login pages has stopped working on my site. Has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it? Nothing has seemed to have changed recently on the web server.

Did you recently upgraded the .Net version on your server. What version of AbleCommerce are you using.

Could also be your hosting provider is slow. Just leave the screen up and wait a minute...if it eventually shows this is the cause most likely.

As a side not, I would like to add that if this happens to anyone else, if you are using a hosting provider with a control panel, it can change the web.config file. Compare the web.config that came with ablecommerce to the web.config that is live. If cpanel, for example, changes something in your web.config it can make this red "X" happen for the captcha.
