IIS7 Rewrite Add-on

I am converting form Able 5.x to the latest version of Able 7.x.
I am using IIS7 and have installed the Microsoft URL Rewrite module.
I was able to test the "Enforce lowercase URLs" that is shipped with the product and it works perfectly,
so I know the product was installed properly and is working.
I have numerous HTML pages that we created in our 5.x system that I would like to transfer and embed in Able 7.x Webpages.
The problem is the pages generated have an .aspx extension. I also have a need to perform some basic SEO rewrites for other pages.
We are highly ranked in Google SERP for keywords on the old pages and I think I simply need to use Microsoft's URLRewrite to rename the pages:
from: www.mywebpage.aboutus.aspx
to: www.mywebpage.aboutus.html
I have tried numerous variations on the URLRewrite contained within IIS7 and nothing seems to work.
Any suggestions on how to get IIS7 Rewrite Module to properly function? I am not sure if it is a configuration issue or not.
I've used ISAPI rewrite in IIS6 with no problem with Able 5.x and I would think this would be even easier.
Thanks for any input.
