Hi

I keep getting an email from Sage Pay that says:

We’ve noticed you’re still using the old Protx URLs to send transaction information details to Sage Pay. As part of our system upgrade we now need you to make a minor change to your system by starting to use the Sage Pay URLs as soon as possible.

We check regularly to see which customers are using the old Protx URLs, however if you have made the change recently and are happy the URLs have been updated then we apologise for emailing you again about this.

We’ve set a deadline of 30 September 2010 to give you time to move across to the Sage Pay URLs. All of the technical information you need is included below, along with what we think will be the most common FAQs.

I have logged into the admin of AbleCommerce on our site and can not find a way to amend these URL's. We are running v7.0.2

Any ideas?

We updated the SagePay(Protx) code since our 7.0.3 release.Our version from 7.0.3 upwards are making use of updated options. URLs are not available as configurable on payment gateways so you can't update them through web interface. You will be either required to make appropriate changes in SagePay(Protx) provider code or upgrade to our latest version.

So is it easy enough for a novice to do an upgrade to the latest version?

BTW our latest version is 7.0.5. It would be better to upgrade to latest one to get the most.

1 last question

The instruction:

ONLY IF UPGRADING FROM 7.0.1 OR 7.0.2: Locate the file App_Code/TaxHelper.cs file and delete it prior to accessing the Upgrade.aspx script.
If you do not remove this file, the upgrade script will display an error.

Is that delete it from the install location (before copying over new files) or from the upgrade exe files that i have extracted?

It means you need to delete that file manually from your Website/App_Code folder before you start upgrade process through Upgrade.aspx page. So simply extract the files. Remove TaxHelper file from your live install. Upload new files. Then hit upgrade.aspx.

Will it not be enough just to update the DLL for SagePay?
