In the 5.5 Version a Standard Product Build in the "Basic" Product area of item builds offered a Drop down Selection by group. Selecting a group allowed only members of that group access of item.

How does one associate a product with a group in AC 7?

The Group field currently does not appear on a standard item build under "basic". Thank you for any feedback.

What was the location on the page- what control did it come after? I looked in an Able 5 .net build and couldn't find it.

This is found in the product page under Basic information and it comes after the Min.Qty to purchase: field. I would add a screen shot, but I can't

Weird- I don't have that or min quantity on the site I looked at- .net. Maybe it was in ColdFusion?
Or maybe it was a custom field? Able 5 had an interface to add those, but Able 7 doesn't yet.

It's possible that it was a custom field, I wasn't working for the company back then and no one can recall if this is custom or not. Is there a way to tell if it was custom? i.e. a setting or an area that I can look for.

If it is a built-in Able custom field it will be in the Custom Field section as in this image. If it's a "custom" custom field, it could be anywhere on the page.
I have worked on a site that is moving to Able 7 and they have fields in both places - some get saved to the custom field table and some get saved to non-Able tables.
