Invoices, packing slips in 7.0.5

It seems some changes where made in 7.0.5 so I can no longer us my setups from previous versions. Time to hack away to get a useable invoice again. I am having trouble with some of this though.

1. The new way kits are shown. I figured out how to make the hidden items shown but I need the SKU to be listed or the SKU and item name instead of just the item name. This is done on both invoices and packing slips leaving the only way to see a sku for a kit via the pull sheets which will not work for us unless we want to print multiple pages for each order. Is there anyway to change it to show the sku for kit items? It looks to me like this is done server side and cannot be easily hacked.

2. I need to display the shipping message on the invoice as well. All previous hacks for this do not seem to work with 7.0.5

3. There is a line break after the item name on every item (looks like it was put there as a break between the parent name and the kit items but show for all items) this makes each line items 2 rows high and wasting space.

Help with these issues would be much appreciated.

I just noticed that the quantity of kit items is not shown either on invoices and packing slips.

Why are we being forced to print multiple pieces of paper for every order in order to get all of the info needed.

Is there some way to turn off the new way kits are listed? Why is this change being forced onto us? The best way to implement this would be to have it selectable for each kit.

We we are having a similar issue we would like to show the items in a bundle as itemized items on the packing list and invoice but have the kit set up as a bundle not itemized is this possible?

I tried to fight for that but it seems I was blown off. What I dont like is the fact that they worked the way we want up until 7.0.5 and then they just change it and say too bad..

Well you've got another person here who sais that it should return to the way that it was. The current format is incredibly confusing to our customers, especially with the way that it specificies the price of the kit option, as well as the already adjusted final price of the product, which comes out looking like their being charged more than they are.

For example, with a 10 dollar towel, and an option that costs 5 extra dollars

My invoice shows somehting like:
Towel $15.00
Option $5.00
Total $15.00


While the customer receipt shows something a but more practical:
Towel $10.00
Option $5.00
Total $15.00



But, ideally, it would look something like:
Towel $15
+option
Total $15.00



The customers view of the invoice (the one they see right after completing the order) is perfect, however, which shows:
QTY SKU Item Price
1 TC193 Some Special Towel Product $15.00
-Option #1



If i could get the invoice/packing slip look like this, both my and my customers will be happy
