Shipping costs does not Authorize

Hi,

I have an issue with our Able install. It may have to do with our custom gateway ( not sure ), or maybe its standard behavior.

But for some reason, Able does not Authorize the cost of shipping when we Authorize in our checkout process. Has anyone else seen this?

The order subtotal gets authorized, just not the total with the shipping.

But when we capture later, even if I test doing so before shipping, Able captures the full amount.

Why would Able choose not to authorize the full amount including shipping during checkout?

I don't think its AC that choses not to authorize the full amount. I am pretty sure it must be your custom gateway. For built-in gateways and the test AbleCommerce gateway you can check and see that AbleCommerce authorizes the full amount including the shipping charges. Either your custom gateway is not authorizing the full amount or authorizing the full amount but not reporting it correctly.

We have the same issue. Shipping cost does not authorize. Looking for a solution.

Another probably related issue that we have is that tax is being authorized in all states, although it is only set-up for NY. Capture works correctly and only calculates tax in NY.

We're using AC 7.0.6
