AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

We are hosting several sites with a US hosting service. While the host servers are located in the US, the sites themselves are targeting an international market, from UK & Australia to Germany, Italy, and China. In order to maximize the performance of our ecommerce applications we are using an EdgeControl service provider called Akamai. I'm not clear on exactly how they work, but as I understand it, Akamai servers around the globe act as a cache proxy for my site. These servers contain all of the static content and ping the origin server for any dynamic content.

My question for AbleCommerce is will a single license on the origin server allow for integration into Akamai's EdgeControl service?
