Sales By Affiliate Dtls Report not pulling referred Orders

When a person signs up as an affiliate, they are given a unique affiliate ID/URL which (theoretically) is used to track referrals. What should be happening is that any time a person gets to the site using that special URL with the affiliate ID in it and then places an order, the affiliate in question will get credit for the referral. However the existing reporting is confusing and misleading. Under People > Affiliates you can see a listing of all affiliates and their "orders" - but if you drill down and look at these orders, they are only ones MADE by that affiliate - not orders they referred (see the referrer link at the top of the order).

If you go to Reports > Marketing > Sales by Affiliate there are two columns - Referrals and Orders. You can't click on and view the referrals, but if you click on the orders, you'll see they are all orders made by that user. None of them are orders made by customers who were referred by the affiliate.

Is there anyway we can pull the reffered oders of the affiliates along with his/her own orders?

Which version of AbleCommerce are you using?
I think affiliates feature was updated and improved ... and some issues fixed ... in version 7.0.6.

We have a problem with our Sales by Affiliates Reports that seem to not show the number of orders/conversions. We have a total of 33 conversions in the AdWords interface, and just 14 in the Affiliate Sales Report for August in the store.

I have checked and double-checked each destination link to make sure it is valid and contains the Google affiliate ID, and they do. I can't find any problems within Google AdWords that would cause them to record a higher number of conversions than actually occurred.

Does anyone know why this would occur? Will the latest version of AbleCommerce correct this issue? We are currently using 7.0.0
