AbleCommerce Shopping Cart Software

We recently noticed that most of the URL's appearing in the Google search results for our site have %2F added after the .com/ . I am told the %2F is html code for "/". I have looked in the admin panel and we do not have any extra /'s added to our category or product pages. If you go to our site and look at the html there is no extra slash in the url and there is no %2F. Why is Google adding this? I fear this will hurt our search rankings (which are bad to begin with and don't need anything else making them worse!). Any ideas how to stop this from happening?

Which version of AC are you using?
There was a problem with canonical URL in an earlier version of AbleCommerce which can cause this.
The problem was fixed newer versions as well as a patch was released.

We are using version 7.0.4.

Either upgrade to latest version of AbleCommerce or install the patches for 7.0.4.
