Error maintaining 'Install' folder

We recently brought up a new store hosted by AbleCommerce. I noticed an error that happens repeatedly. It can happen every few minutes or 10 hours can go by without an error.

Error maintaining 'Install' folder Access to the path 'UpdateKey.aspx' is denied.

Anyone know what is causing this?

Looks like a permissions error. Or the /Install/ folder was removed perhaps??

Can you access that page from your browser i.e. http://<yoursite>/install/updatekey.aspx ?

There are several maintenance routines that Able fires off within the server code. One of the routines checks access to the /Install/ folder. That's where that message is coming from.

Yes, I can access the folder and the updatekey page. It provides a way to enter the AbleCommerce license key. Since we are hosted with AbleCommerce, there should be no need for that function.

It's a low priority message, so you can ignore it if you want.

Most likely it's a permissions issue on the file itself. Your hosting provider would be the one to fix that.

AbleCommerce has deleted the install folder. If you do not hear from me again you will know that solved the problem.
