Combine Shipping Methods into Single Fee

Has anyone combined shipping methods to just display one Shipping Fee both in the Estimator and during Checkout?
For example: If there are 3 items in a cart, Product 1 uses UPS, Product 2 uses Flat Fee and Product 3 uses Free Shipping how do you combine all those method results so the customer only sees one Shipping Price for the total order?
