Maybe im misunderstanding the meaning of this trigger,

I have set an email to go out for Order Paid Partial, which works fine for sending a an email on an order that did not receive full payment.

But when the final payment is made, it seems to me, that the Order Paid Credit Balance flag would send out another notification indicating that the order is paid in full, and will also let us know that the order is ready to ship, but this is not the case.

Does Order Paid Credit Balance mean something else? or is something not working right?

Actually when payment is made and there is remaining balance it will trigger Order Paid Partial. When remaining payment is made it totals the balance means balance is 0 order fully paid it will trigger Order Paid. Order Paid Credit Balance is the special case and triggers when some one overpays the amount. For example order total was $40 and some one paid $50 for it. In this case Order Paid Credit Balance will trigger. So in your case you need to use Order Paid trigger.

Thank you for the explanation. The only problem is that by using the Order Paid trigger, will it not send the notification (which in this case, is used to notify the customer AND ourselves, that the order is paid and ready to ship) for ANY item that is fully paid for?

Would there be a way to have these layaway notifications stand out from the rest?
