Mixed Sessions

Post by butterscotch » Thu Oct 20, 2011 5:46 pm

Hello,

We recently upgraded to 7.0.6 from 7.0.0. Sometimes we've noticed that some customers sessions are becoming mixed with other sessions. We're not quite sure why this is happening - has anyone experienced this before?

:(
Thank you!

We had it happen once when someone turned on caching in IIS for the site.

You are like the oracle of this forum! I forgot to let you know but you were right, it was something to do with with cache and our server, not too sure about the details, but you led us in the right direction. Thank you!

You're welcome. We had to track it down by using the principle of "what has changed". There were several things that changed at the same time, like the merchant put redirects in the web.config file, but we did finally narrow it down to the caching.
