For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to set a storewide sale. Does anyone know how to do this without having to edit every product and set a pricing rule? Also, my products are mostly kits with 0.00 as the base price of the kit so it may not work anyways.

Why is this so difficult?

Back to using a coupon again - what a shame!

AC7 is a great product but has just way too many limitations for this day and age, and maturity of this product, it's not like it's a new product for AC! I sure hope AC8 puts some effort into the marketing capabilities.

Create a volume discount with a minimum quantity of 1 and set the Discount Scope to Global.

A volume discount is done for each product? What if that product is a kit with a base price of 0?

If the volume discount is set to Global, yes it's the only way to apply a store-wide price modification. Not sure how it works with kits, haven't tried it personally.

Another option is the Bulk Product Edit but that's still manually editing the prices. Not ideal for more than a few products.
