PayPal Express checkout

Post by josepha » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:48 am

Hello,

PayPal Express checkout is not appearing for the customers.
I am sure that I have it set up properly, Website Payments Standard & Direct are both working.

Do I need to configure it by setting-up a separate Gateway method ?
i configured the gateway method and checked all payment method types including the paypal.

And when I try to add another Gateway " in-case that selecting all payment types in a single gateway is wrong !! "
and by following-up the Ablecommerce Help, there is a step where i must choose the Paypal button:
1.From the Payment Gateways page, click the ADD GATEWAY button.
2.From the Add Gateway page, click the "PAYPAL" button.

And I cant find this button, there is only "PAYPAL PAYFLOW PRO" Button !!

Basket.aspx is using Basket Bar 1, which includes the following lines:

[[ConLib:PayPalExpressCheckoutButton ShowHeader="true" ShowDescription="true"]]
[[ConLib:BasketShippingEstimate]]

Please Help :)

PayPal Express Checkout does not appear on the checkout page with the other payment options. Instead, in the mini-basket sidebar, a PayPal express button should appear right below your normal checkout button. You do not need to configure a seperate gateway, as it will use the PayPal gateway you already have configured for Website Payments Standard/Direct.

As a side note, you won't see the option to add the PayPal gateway if you already have the PayPal gateway configured.

What version of Able Commerce are you running?

In addition to the previous post... you will also need to get the API's from PayPal and have them filled out in your PayPal Gateway if you have not already.

Also, from my past experience when I set up PayPal in AC for others, I only check the PAPAL method at the bottom of the page if my client is using V/MC etc with another 3rd party payment processing center. They have another gateway to handle those credit card payments.
