Catalog Search Results in Admin

Hello,
I've noticed an odd error on search results in the admin side of AC and I don't know if it is just me. Using the catalog search, whenever there are multiple pages of results, there are always products from previous pages on the current page.
Below are some screenshots. I highlighted the results that appear on 2 different pages.
Set 1 ("Precise") - Notice that the 3rd page of results is completely unnecessary:

AC SCHEMA v2005
.NET CLR v2.0.50727.3625
ASP.NET TRUST: Unrestricted
Admin/Catalog/Search.aspx and Search.aspx.cs are in their original 7.0.7 condition.
In a related note, if starting a new search from the results page, the paging does not reset. If I'm on page 2 of results, my next search will show page 2 of the results. If there is no page 2 for that query, then I get "There are no items that match the search criteria."
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a bug? Is there a fix?
