AbleCommerce running in SQL Server 2012

Post by owain.jones@cmc.ca » Fri May 18, 2012 7:48 am

Hi,

Is anybody running AbleCommerce on SQL Server 2012? We are running AbleCommerce 7.0.7 build 14588 and want to migrate our SQL Server databases to 2012.

Thanks,
Owain

We are in a process of evaluating mssql 2012 for our clients as well. Since AbleCommerce does not use any specific TSQL features and most
new features in 2012 are mostly related to BI (Business Intelligence) I do not see why AV7 should not work with direct DB restore.

It seems that 2012 is heavier than 2008R2 and requires more memory and CPU resources.
