We are looking at (possibly) moving our store to a cloud server which from all we have discussed is not really PCI compliant at this time. Our host company suggests, to minimize liability, we change our checkout so that instead of users entering their CC info on our own Able checkout page, we pass them instead, to the Authorize.net checkout form. The customer would enter their shipping and billing info as well as their CC details here (similar to using Paypal express). After authorization the customer would return to our Able cart.
Has anyone done this? Can someone describe what would need to be done to implement this?
Thanks
Barb

Re: Using alternate Authorize.net checkout system
Hello,
We use Authorize.Net CIM (Customer Information Manager) for our billing system.
http://www.authorize.net/solutions/merc ... vices/cim/
CIM allows us to process recurrent CC transactions without storing CC information in our system. Only a CIM ticket
string is being stored on our end. Our billing system is custom built asp.net based app. (not AbleCommerce).
We can help you implement CIM for your storefront. Send me a Private Message if interested.
Regards,
Dimi
