Integrated Shipping Provider : How to create one

Hi All,

My up coming store has fairly complex shipping requirements – that will not be handled by the standard AC shipping/warehouse setup. Instead of some custom work on the store, I am thinking it might be better to have a custom “Integrated Shipping Provider” i.e. I provide the shipping options/costs to my store from a new “Integrated Shipping Provider” (which I make and provide the data for).

However, I can find no info from AC on how to make or provide a “Integrated Shipping Provider” – only how to access an existing one – I want to make one.

Any help would be appreciated.

p.s. store will probably be AC Gold - but I think Integrated Shipping Provider is common to AC 7 and AC Gold.

AC Gold has significant differences in how the API is referenced. Your code written for AC7 will not be compatible with Gold. You'll need to write two flavors of the shipping gateway to cover both platforms.

Dear AC, any chance of making the source available for the AC Gold Version of the UPS Shipping Gateway - so we can make an AC Gold compatible version?
