I am using 7.03.
When customers go to the Account menu and choose an order that failed (because of a decline), they are taken to the paymyorder.aspx page.
They put in the credit card information and are getting the message - Invalid amount. Payment must be greater than zero and no more than XXX.
The amount is correct so I am not sure why we are getting this error. Any ideas?

What build are you using? Which payment gateway?

I checked the help site and found nothing as far as Cybersource resulting in this failed payment situation. The trouble I'm having is that version 7.0.3 is over 4 years old and this hasn't been reported before. I would check carefully to see if something has changed on your end or a customization that is causing this to happen.

Can you give me a starting place to look? You may have hit the nail on the head as our former developer may have made a change he shouldn't have.

You might try the controls named "OrderBalanceDialog" and "PayMyOrderPage". These are located in the \ConLib\ folder. If you need to restore the original versions, you should have access to the downloads by logging into your AbleCommerce account and viewing the original order, or Downloads page.
