PayPal fails to capture

Hello everyone,

We have noticed our paypal gateway is no longer accepting credit cards. in the admin area it sails failed to capture.

CommerceBuilder.PayPal: 7.3.12238.0


PLATFORM: ASP.NET
VERSION: 7.0.3
BUILD: 12458
MSSQL v>2008
AC SCHEMA v2005

I checked the error log but it is not showing anything. is there anywhere else I could review error logs or is there any information that could help us diagnose the issue?

Hello,

If this just started happening recently, then you need to check to see if something besides AbleCommerce has changed. (eg. firewall, server, network, etc)

As far as logging, you can enable debug from the Paypal configuration page in AbleCommerce. This will show you the information being sent to the gateway and what is received. If nothing is logged as received, then something between Paypal and AbleCommerce is preventing the transaction from happening.

Another thing to check is the IPN log from Paypal's site. If you view the transaction detail, there should be a link to the log in the summary text at the top of the page.
