Summary box on Product Details Page

More questions on the product details page - what is the Summary box and where does its contents display? Is this like a short description

Hello Don,

We've not added it to any of the display pages as of yet, it's a legacy field which isn't currently being displayed on any of our category templates. We're open to ideas. Larger stores don't seem to use this field as it's too time consuming to re-write content for a short description.

It's an easy addition to any template where product data is being output.

Thanks - We were wondering about that. I think it is a good idea. We will think about it and discuss it in out meeting tomorrow.

We're using the summary field on our category templates. We don't have a lot of products, so we have the room for it. It's been pretty useful for us.

Hi Don,
We are currently using the summary content in our product page to populate the short description just under the SKU/Item#
