When a user attempts to change their password, an ASP.NET error message appears:

Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occured while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The user logs in, clicks Account on home page, clicks Change email or password. Enters old password and new password, clicks Save, and error appears.

I did actually go to the page to report a bug, but it said on that page to post it to the forums first in case it's not a bug. I was just following procedure as outlined.

If you didn't just customize the page, and it throws an error. You've likely found a bug and our QC team will be on it like bad dogs. There are only 1 or 2 open bugs in the system right now, so they do need something to do.

I got a similar error. Fixed by correctly following the post-install checklist for Release Candidate 1.
