Hi guys
So it looks like I can create groups and add pricing rules to each product to specify a discount which appears when viewing the product. Is there a way to add a global pricing rule/discount e.g. 20% off all products for my 'gold' members?
The best way I can see to do this at the moment is to add a global volume discount with a minimum quantity of 1, for my gold membership group. The drawback (apart from the fact that I'm misusing the volume discount option) is that the discount in this case is applied at the checkout and not during shopping.
Is there another way to do this?

Volume discount is the easieast way to do it with a large catalog. I think the discount will show on the view product page, but it will not show up in category / search listings I guess.
If you were interested in implementing a special based discount, it would probably be easier to create a custom ASP.NET script to run through your product catalog and configure the special automatically...
