DataPort - Odd Conversion issue

Still have not got the DataPort to complete successfully, but do get about half way through before it chokes. This is from 5.5 to 7.0

Something I noticed on the data transfer on Product Options/Variants. When looking at product sizes in the 7 website, data that was imported shows half sizes as â€œ10½â€

Update...
Tried the &-frac12; and the code shows for that also. (added the dash for the forum)
So.. basically in the size dropdown, the code shows instead of the 1/2 sign.

Any ideas?
