Visa/Mastercard PABP Certification with Able 7

Hey,

I've been looking over the Able 7 features pretty thoroughly, and I can't find anything about PABP certification with Able 7.

There are several PABP programs from the differen't credit card companies, Verified by Visa, MasterCard 3-D SecureCode and JCB's J/Secure. This is the very important part: If you choose a NON PABP certified shopping cart platform, your business could be shut down by VISA in 2008. Visa seems to be leading the pack on this one, but I'm sure the other credit card companies with be following shortly as well. They might have already, I'm just not aware of it if they have.

So without knowing if Able 7 is PCI and PABP compliant and certified it would give me great pause about buying it. Has Able 7 been certified for PABP and PCI compliance with all the card companies?

On a side note (but a simiar topic), I am very interested in using either Cardinal Commerce or MaxMind to help reduce chargebacks and fraud. I am not sure which one yet, because I haven't researched the differences between the two yet. But are either one of those integrated? Or does anyone have experience with a similar service they recommend/don't like?

Oh, and I'm also thinking about using TRUSTe.

Thanks,

Brandon

Read here... http://www.ablecommerce.com/AbleCommerc ... 25C20.aspx

Does that answer your question? I did see someplace it said it was PCI compliant at least.

Hello,

We are currently PCI and PABP compliant. We just today contracted with http://www.chiefsecurityofficers.com/ to obtain full PABP certification!

This will be completed well in advance of the requirement date.

Cardinal Commerce- they have an intergration for 5.5 that works well. I don't know that they have done AC7 yet because it isn't a final release.

We spent a lot of time with the PCI documentation as well as the PABP certification docs used by those providing the certification.

There were definitely some upgrades made in this area during our active development, as the spec changed even from our PCI compliant AC55 version.
