Manual capture?

I have had some customers payment show up failed like this..

1/20/2008 6:23 PM PayPal Capture $43.40 FAILED This transaction cannot be processed. (15005) (Failure)

If you click on "retry capture" it seems to always work and displays this..

1/22/2008 8:59 AM Capture $43.40 SUCCESS Manual Capture Successful (0)

But in reality it hasnt done anything..besides make you think it was paid.

Assuming you have the RC2 upgrade, go to your merchant admin and access the Configure -> Payments -> Methods screen. Look in the list for "PayPal" payment method. Check to see whether it shows "PayPal" in the gateway column as well. If not, edit the PayPal payment method, set the gateway to PayPal, and save.

I believe this is the cause of the manual capture trouble.

It was not setup that way. I will see if it works next time I have a chance.

I've set mine as well, it was not set this way.

I will report here when I get the opportunity to test it.
