My shipping estimate isn't working

I've double-checked everything as best I can, but my shipping estimate box always says "No shipping methods are available for the current items and/or the given destination".
AC7 calculates freight just dandy at checkout, even accounting for different warehouses having different possible methods available.
But shipping estimate no workie. Any suggestions and how/where to troubleshoot the problem before I open a ticket on it? I just want to make sure it's not a setup problem on my end.
I remember it working long ago (all 30 days ago) but haven't tested it again until today.

I think I got that same message when my products didn't have the "Shippable" box marked AND they had a valid warehouse ID. The problem seemed to go away after I updated all the products.

Did you find a solution to this? Ours has never worked and shows the same error "No shipping methods are available for the current items and/or the given destination." I have items tagged shippable and non-shippable with warehouses assigned. Also, now I am getting some weird overlay of text on my shipping editor too.

Yes, in my situation it is working somewhat well.
The trick I found was to set your shipping methods to "All Zones" - Shipping Estimator won't include them in any estimate calculations if they are not set to "All Zones".
Even still, my custom Able shipping methods (like a flat-rate grounds shipping) still do not get included, but at least it works

It's hit or miss from my end as well ... I'd say they work 2 or 3 times out of 10. I finally just set up some flat rate, zone and price based, shipping methods to ensure that my customers could check out.

You talking about shipping rates in general during checkout or the Shipping Estimator? My shipping rates have always calculated during checkout - never been a problem there. All this thread was about was the estimator under the minibasket on the home page.

Oops, sorry about that ... I don't use the estimator. It's the UPS rate quotes that don't work ... and when they don't work, most of the time, they don't throw an error to the log either.
