Strange Random Error

Post by Road Rider » Sat Feb 02, 2008 1:34 pm

I receive this error at random times and random places through out the admin side of my store. It is really annoying and has caused me to lose quite a bit of work. If I click on OK and click again on whatever prompted the error I am able to proceed (with loss of whatever I have done, which did I say is annoying, especially after an hour of formating a product description) Anybody have any ideas?

I have also found that it occurs randomly on the front end end, happened at a test check out. Cant have that.

Looks like Javascript, but it's hard to tell. Might be the Ajax functionality. Might be the Microsoft extensions library.

You're going to have to narrow it down, piece by piece. Different computers, different flavors of IE or Firefox, different OS's etc. Try to see what specific combinations do and don't result in the error.

I haven't seen any other reports nor ever had that error occur with my AC7 install. I've been live almost 3 months now. Running IE6, IE7 and Firefox on WinXP SP2.

I was hoping someone else would post because I ran into that problem a few times, but I can't remember what I did to fix it. I think it had something to do with the part of the message that said server trace is enabled.
